About Dr. Julie M. Wiener, N.D.

  • Received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, one of the country's four medical schools specializing in science based natural medicine and research.
  • Received her B.S. in Environmental Toxicology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst
  • Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Course co-creator and primary lecturer of Principles of Functional Medicine, lecturer non-herbal dietary supplements
  • Licensed, Board certified Naturopathic Doctor
  • Researched and compiled cirriculum material for Principles of Functional Medicine, a new course at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, part of Masters of Applied Natural Products Program
  • Founder of Beacon Naturopathic Clinc in Brighton, Massachusetts
  • Adjunct residency site for Tufts Family Residency in Melrose, Children's Hospital, and guest lecturer for, Newton Adult Education, and Framingham State College
  • Support group leader for the Massachusetts Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Society

Personal Statement:
My goal is to provide quality natural medicine to those who seek my assistance. The foundation of my practice is to use science, along with ancient wisdom, to create a progressive approach to healthcare that puts the patient first.  I will work with you and your own inherent healing power to create safe and effective treatment plans.  I feel honored to be a part of naturopathic medicine and to take you on a journey of empowerment, education and healing.
